Let me just say I'm soooooo glad we discovered this place. Didn't know why we never knew this before. They have an awesome outdoor seating space. It's a lovely farmhouse rustic style. The wooden textured picnic tables throughout, super cozy and inviting. The indoor and outdoor spaces are almost seamlessly connecting together. Very open space. It's a very sunny weekend. They have red umbrellas throughout all the tables. You won't get burned while being able to enjoy the beautiful sunshine. It's super dog friendly. Our dog babies have enough space to stretch out. That's great! It's a legit lobster place. The food is AMAZING! There are so many options. I'm sure anyone can find their favorite something if you are into seafood! The service was excellent! I can see us coming back to this place soon.
The food here is delicious, my favorite was the shrimp. It's cooked perfectly so the shell is falling off and the meat is still moist and soft. The oysters are very refreshing, cold and a good amount of saltiness. The lobster roll has a crispy bun with flavorful meat inside. The chowder is rich and thick. It's very good but eventually got too heavy for me. The restaurant itself is very spacious and has a fun vibe. It feels as if I'm walking through the piers. The prices are pretty high but this is a cool place to try out
Michelin rated lobster spot with lobster flown in from Maine daily say less, fam. This is a must try in the Bay Area, it has all the vibes of an east coast seafood cafe. We ordered: lobster mac, lobster roll, and lobster plate. Lobster Mac needed just a little seasoning, but it was all provided, and I loved the addition of corn in the Mac! Lobster roll is VERY pricey at $50/roll. It used to cost less but this location has now garnered some internet fame so they are able to charge more and they take advantage of that. Service wasn't great. We had questions about the menu and we were just directed to a table with a QR code. For what you pay, you should be able to ask a few questions. Overall, would recommend for any lobster lover, but hefty price tag would prevent me from becoming a regular.
Don't get me wrong I love a good lobster roll! But the price and overall taste was underwhelming. For $40 for a lobster roll I expected there to be more flavor or some sauce to balance out the actual protein and bread. But there wasn't much to it. We also got the lobster mac and cheese and that was good but not great. I felt like it was lacking seasoning or something. Thankfully they do provide some seasoning on the side. But I felt the addition to corn in mac and cheese felt strange and didn't end up liking it as much as i thought. I ordered the half crab and half lobster roll so I could try both and it was roughly $35+ and that came with chips and some slaw. The crab tasted better than the lobster, just wish there was some au jus or sauce to balance out the flavors. Thats just my preference! Was super excited about this place but ended up disappointed. Some highlights is that it's also a seafood market so you can actually come and purchase live lobsters! There's tons of seating inside and outside so it's great for larger groups! Maybe I'd come back here, but for the price and lack in taste it wasn't my cup of tea.
