Plunge the toilet yourself. That's what this place told my wife to do. My wife drove 350 miles to take care of our daughter who just has foot surgery. While staying here the toilet stopped working. When my wife called the front desk the person told her there wasn't a maintenance person available. But she could come to the front desk and get a plunger and go take care of the toilet. Then the employee told my wife this is SOP, that the GM told the employees to tell the customers this stuff. I'm not paying for them to perform maintenance on the property. I'm paying so my wife and kids can have a bed to sleep in, and a room for pravacy while they're away from home. I really wish I was there with them. I'd definitely get my Karen badge and wear it with pride. I'll never book this place again.Customer service is a thing of the past.
The first issue we ran into was a large amount of HAIR on the bathroom floor. The staff quickly moved us to another room. The rooms seem recently updated, which is nice, but they always felt humid and smelled like wet dog. Sure enough, when walking around with socks on, we got lots of dog hair on our socks. We were told that they didn't have all of the cleaning supplies needed to properly clean up hair. Disgusting, especially during this era. Only reason I'm giving two stars is because the staff were very nice and the hotel furnishing were new. It would be at least a 4-star review if the rooms were cleaner and the smell improved.
Limited towels and amenities in the room. There is a very authoritative, parental somewhat threatening sign in the room from management stating how much they will charge you if you take a bath towel $25 etc. You have to wear gloves and a mask to get your breakfast, and someone stands there and enforces it. I have stayed at many holiday inns but will not stay at this one again.
