Cotton Patch Cafe - Burleson

I ordered the Avocado Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and I was really hungry, so I couldn't wait to dig in. When the sandwich arrived, I opened it to add some black pepper, and to my surprise, there was NO avocado! We couldn't find Quinton at that moment, so we asked another waiter to bring us something with avocado. I know Quinton got the order right because I asked him to hold the tomatoes, and he repeated my request. I mean, who orders an Avocado Grilled Chicken Sandwich and wants to leave out the avocado? Regardless, when I'm back in the area, I will definitely order that sandwich again because it was delicious! Next time, though, I'll skip the fries and opt for fried bacon instead. Fried bacon?

We waited for 10 minutes, and around 2:30, the manager finally walked by with a washcloth. It was only then that our waitress, who was great, was able to sit us. While we were there, I noticed the manager engaged in conversation and doing nothing to address the situation; every table was dirty and he had his back to the entrance the entire time. I saw three couples leave during our visit, and he didn't seem to notice. At about 2:30, I asked the waitress if she could check on an elderly couple nearby. I've never seen such an inattentive manager in my life. When I asked the waitress for his name, she told me it was Cody. We love our local Cotton Patch and plan to keep coming back, but it’s disappointing that you lost out on $60-$100 in business due to poor leadership.

For free veterans lunch on the veterans day. Great food and excellent service. The fried bacon was great.

I like Cotton Patch. I prefer it to other chain restaurants like Chili's for American food. The service has always been good. The prices are typical for fast casual and it's a plus that they have a bar. It's not a steak restaurant so stick to the chicken fried steak, salads and other middle of the road dishes.

Placed a pick up order this evening. This photo is a side of mashed potatoes a side of cinnamon apples shown for size comparison)Literally 2 slices of apple and 2 small half pieces of apple. Instead of being in a side container it was in a salad dressing container. I left a generous tip and got not so great service...also no plasticware was included. Won't be ordering from here again.
