I don't think I have ever received such good treatment in any restaurant as in this one, it is wonderful, the wine and the food are all spectacular. I have never tasted such good meat in my life I have no words Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Quality meats, quiet place, they take care of the details and very friendly, it is not cheap but it is worth it. I have visited it four times and I will return Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Not in the city center but in Burjasot, a little village, now part of the growing Valencia, I found, following a frien advise, this absolutely exceptional meat restaurant. The menu is not big, but everything in it its been carefully chosen. We begin with a delicious Jamon Pata Negra and a salad, that they explained me when I asked, they go and buy every day to the market hand picking the tomatoes, lettuces and so on no Iceberg . Then we had the meat. My wife and me, like it extra rear and then we had a thick piece of Buey that was lightly cocked to perfection by Dario, the young cook that follows the tradition of his father, who run the restaurant for many years before him and that may be seen around visiting from time to time. We where lucky and had the opportunity to chat with him and learn how they expend their vacations traveling around Spain and France locking for the best meet to buy for the restaurant. The local friend we came with, likes the meat more done, so Maria Jose, the maitre and a consummate wine expert, advice to have a Rubia and no doubt she knows her business. Our frien was delighted with the choice because she don 't like the very tasty meet. Dessert was an excellent home made cake and some seasonal fresh fruit. A family run restaurant, with a very friendly staff, the family, and a exceptional meat. Next time I am in Valencia or around I will go again. A place not to miss.
What a restaurant! Tucked away in a dull, industrial suburb of Valencia, this is a veritable gem for meat lovers. A Spanish restaurant with Uruguayan roots. El patron may no longer be in attendance but after a hiatus his wife is now continuing the tradition. Ideally you want to be a party of at least four so that you can sample all the different ages of steak, from the milky white veal to the intensely flavoured busy. The wine list is sensational too. Some booming reds, not just Riojas and Riberos but from lesser-known regions too, like Galicia and Leon. Fantastic value. A boozy, carnivorous delight for around 50 euros per head. In London this sort of meal would cost 3-4 times as much.
Absolutely the best steak I have had in Europe!! Phenomenal! Melt in your mouth awesomeness and great service. Obviously a family owned and quaint establishment-everything was great. From the moment we walked in to the time we walked out we felt like family! An absolute must try!!!
