Lucky Donuts - Burien

Straight ahead, classic doughnuts, but I'm telling you they are SO good! I think they must just be really fresh and use good quality ingredients. And they're really affordable. This is my go-to doughnut spot.

One of the best things about a business is reliability. I just can't rely on Lucky. Of the three times I've driven all the way here because of my uncontrollable donut craving, they've ALWAYS been closed. I'm done wasting my time and gas. I read they close when they sell out but seeing that I get off at 1, and they're closed when I speed there; why not just say you close at noon or 1 or whatever. I'm just saying it's a gamble, not that they need to stay opened for me lol

DONUTS MADE IN HEAVEN..If you looking for a place that has the BEST YES THE BEST..Donuts in the entire state of Wa..then you need to go here..There 20 bucks a dozen..but worth every cent..I used to go here about 4 or 5 times a week when I lived in Burien..But now that I live in federal way..I go maybe once a month..But I only eat donuts once a month now..So thats a good thing..?I don't ever bother with any other donut place..especially Safeway donuts ??Those will.make you feel suck every time.

The best hole in the wall donut shop in town! Haha.. get it? ; I have been coming here since my toddler days! 22 years later and I still stop in when I am within the vicinity. Since I first started coming here, the original owners have retired but passed the business to someone else in the family and have kept the amazing recipes. I am SO glad nothing has changed! The service is always so genuine, wholesome and leaves me feeling so happy. Plus, it is Asian owned and I love supporting my Asian community. You can also sit inside which is what I always did/do with my mom and Grandma. There is one donut chair that has been there forever and I always sit in it. To be honest, I actualy am not a big donut person but I absolutely LOVE Lucky Donuts! They are the most light and fluffy donuts I have ever had and nothing I have tried compares. The perfect amount of sweetness, not greasy, and just perfect in every way. If you stop in, you NEED to try their maple bars! I took all they had left today because they are just that good. While you 're there, try a classic sugar donut! And a chocolate custard filled! And.. just do yourself a favor and get a dozen! I hope you enjoy this business as much as me and my family does.
