Taverna Tassos - Burghausen

Enjoyed good food in the lovely garden of this restaurant set in a quiet residential area. We were so pleased to find such a delightful place open on a Monday. The prices are very reasonable, gifts of dessert and Metaxa a lovely surprise.

Really good place! Food tasty and well served, service very good! Waiters very, very friendly. Place really cool which makes you feel confortable!! If you are at Burghausen don't let to go to Taverna Tassos!

We ate and drank well and were very well looked after by the host. Our part began outside in the family friendly Biergarten and then retired inside when the food was served. The food and atmosphere was enjoyed by our large family group.

The best thing about Taverna Tassos is not only will you get great food, but you will also get great service from the owners. Yanni is fantastic and very friendly. For appetizers, I highly recommend the mushrooms and the zucchini, and for dinner I love the Pastizio, a greek lasagna. Though I have to say I have never had anything I did not like there. Then finish up the night with complimentary shots of Ouzo with the owner. Every time we go there we are there at least 3-4 hours just because we are enjoying ourselves so much!

Have been to the Taverna Tassos so often, I don't even remember when the first time was. Had uncountable great dishes there, ranging from lamb to calamari tubes to grilled zucchini to name just a few of my favourites. Homely interior and atmosphere as well as a big beergarden where the adults can relax and the children can play. Don't forget to have the Greek yogurt and the honey melon liqueur for dessert :-)
