Hotel Restaurant Krone - Buochs

Being close to Lucerne and Tesla Supercharger was a great advantage for us. In addition, the town where it is located is quiet, calm and has a very beautiful nature. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a fridge and kettle as a facility. It has also free parking facility. Breakfast was very satisfying and varied. The price is considered affordable for Switzerland.

Bad Points No receptionist on arrival, had to call a number to check in a little like Air B&B, however if you are not from Switzerland it was very hard to contact them via our telephone network. Rooms have no Air Conditioning so very hot, there is a large fan in the room but it is very noisy. You could open the window however our room was at the front, very, very , very noisy road. Hotel is on the main road, not set back so very noisy. Be aware that the hotel restaurant and bar is closed on Sunday and Monday, there are very few other restaurants in the town so you could go hungry. I can't comment on the staff as there were none , even for breakfast in the morning which is served as a buffet, people came down for breakfast, ate, left. There was no one to clear up the mess. We all had a really bad nights sleep due to noise from the traffic and the heat so I don't think we would return. Theres a lot going on in the world that is a lot worse, I know

Very very helpful staff. We arrived late but one of staff was already finish his duty although he helped us for Booking a room but I forgot his name and he is very respectful person and the hotel was so clean.

Super freundliches Personal,mega feines Essen,sehr schönes Hotel mit toller und ruhiger Gartenterrasse,sehr bequemen Betten und suuuuper Frühstücksbuffet.

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe unterwegs. Das Abendessen war schmackhaft und wurde sehr zügig für alle serviert. Das Personal war freundlich, es herrschte eine familiäre Athmosphäre. Hervorzuheben ist das phänomenale Frühstück. Reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich, regional, lecker. Eine Übernachtung war definitiv zu wenig für diesen Ort. Meine Bewertung: der Name Krone sollte in Hotel 2 Kronen umbenannt werden. Der Aufenthalt bleibt in Erinnerung.
