Le Tres Bon - Bungendore

I have dined at Le Tres Bon many times since they opened in Bungendore 10 years ago. I love being there because it always feels like being home the atmosphere, my friends Chef Christophe and his wife Josephine, the wonderful menu and the company of friends. Last night was the 14th July Bastille Day Celebration and it was spectacular 5 courses of the most authentic delicious food and wines from Alsace. But the standout for me was the 3rd course Duck a l'Orange and Pommes Dauphinois. The flavours were exquisite. I had a very enjoyable evening and can't wait until I have another opportunity to enjoy Le Tres Bon.

Best local French Joint by a mile. Authentic French food in a great space. More than worth the short drive to Bungendore dinner or a lazy Sunday lunch.

Authentic french and intimate dining experience with friendly service delicious food and wine. Never disappoint and always feel spoilt. Best Fois gras and crepe suzettes!!

Had a fantastic lunch today celebrating our mother’s 80th birthday. Staff were very welcoming, atmosphere was relaxing and the food was absolutely delicious. What a nice surprise to add a birthday candle to mum’s dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Great food, wonderful hosts. Been quite a few times and never disappointed with either food or service. If I could go 6 star I would!
