Ziffano's Restaurant and Bar - Bundoora

This is quite a nice place, however it’s not the best option around. The food itself was good, they could have loaded more chips (as others do). Sangria tasted nice, although it should had been colder; the one we had was like the way red wine serves! Staff were polite, but they were neither professional nor familiar with their menu. This was the most significant disadvantage. Overall, my experience was just Okay. I was in a dilemma of giving them 3 or 4 stars.

In addition to being a super adorable cafe to stop by during your lunch break, Ziffano's are super accommodating in there event hosting skills. During a catered for birthday event back in October Ziffano's provided quality and versatile food and was very satisfying. Ziffano's also gave us access to their television to set up gaming consoles and allowed us to buy as many drinks as we liked at the bar. Would highly recommend Ziffano's to anyone who is looking for a celebration.

Venue was spacious and nice. Staff was warm and friendly. The grilled seafood looked amazing however the Moreton bay bugs were disappointing and flavourless while the salmon did not have crispy skin tad bit soggy possibly because it was face down in the salad. The calamari and prawns saved the dish. My partner ordered the buttermilk pancakes and it was delicious with the fresh fruit and crunchy nuts. Overall, we would return but wouldn't order the grilled seafood.

Went there Feb 27th for friends 50thbirthday. Worst experience ever !! Approx. 50 guests and most waited over two and half hours and meals did not arrive. The few meals that did arrive had to be sent back , chicken and steaks raw inside. I had to explain to bar staff how to make drinks ie. Bitters, Lime and Lemonade as well as Vodka and raspberry. They run out of Lemonade for drinks. We ordered entrees and main meals , the only item we received was a soggy cheesy garlic bread just like the frozen supermarket ones), our family's meal alone totaled $146. When we approached staff re a refund, two and half hours later, the staff advised that there was not enough cash in the register and that they were unable to refund onto our debit card. The staff took our details and we are yet to hear from the restaurant, they have not answered their phone and have not responded to emails. Including drinks we spent over $200 and we want reimbursement only for our meal that we did not receive. We felt very sorry for the Birthday boy and his wife whose night was spoilt by all of this. Had to do a Maccas run on the way home for the kids !!!
