Hotel Restaurant Metro - Bundaberg

The only saving grace for our visit here was the staff behind the bar, she was really friendly but the rest of the evening was dire. We came on the bingo night and ordered food, a group of around 12 of us ordered and only around 4 actually enjoyed their meals.My chicken parmi was luke warm at best and most of the chips burnt.My partner ordered a burger and again was luke warm and tasted strange. One of our friends ordered the nachos which had barely any meat with it and no flavour.Two others ordered the chicken schnitzel which again had zero flavour.Others had problems with temperature and flavour of the meal.Definitely won't be coming again but others seem to have had a good experience.

I've actually been here a dozen times or so over the years and have never left a review. I firstly came for dinner with my parents. It was busy, Food was fast, well priced and tasty - same applies to my second dinner dining experience. I have also grabbed a really quick lunch here between clients - the wraps are excellent - well priced, fresh and filling and always out within 10 minutes and i can eat and get back to work. Hubby was away recently and our 2 younger children at sleepovers so last minute i decided to take my two eldest kids on a "date night" We arrived and it was very quiet, which was unusual i thought. (Friday Night)We placed our orders, staff were lovely and helpful with queries on ingredients etc. Food was served in good time, generous portions, especially the schnitzel. Will definitely be returning again and again. Thanks Metro.

As usual the lunch specials really were just that - specialAll meat cooked exactly as requestedVeges fresh and generous portionsMay need to book on some occasions and times tho so always pay to reserve because it can get very busyParking can sometimes b a trick but there's plenty thereWe go here probably once a monthThe staff r always pleasant and helpful

The Metro Hotel is located in the centre of Bundaberg CBD - it's got a great bar at the front of the hotel, good for street watching, enjoying a bevvy and a lunch special :) The food is good quality, the service is lovely and the surroundings are fresh and modern. This is a good lunch time getaway that's centrally located and inexpensive fare.

Fast service and good prices for a lunch meeting or just to get away from the office. Service is always friendly and fast
