Hooked On Seafood Bundy - Bundaberg

Found that its under the new management. Had lunch there today..grilled fish - the meal tasted heavenly. Service was great

I visited this takeaway shop in Bundaberg last month. My partner and I were in the mood for fish and chips. However, when we returned to our motel, we were disappointed. The fish was mushy, the calamari was burnt, and the crumbs were overcooked. The chips were decent, but overall, we were very disappointed. I'm not sure if this is the usual quality of their food, but I likely won't be returning to find out.

We ordered a 10-pack of calamari with chips, 8 prawn cutlets, and a piece of red emperor at the restaurant. Everything was fresh, well-cooked, and made on-site. The chips could have been cooked a bit longer and seasoned with salt, but overall, we enjoyed our meal and will definitely return.

I regret purchasing food from this restaurant as I ended up throwing it away. The staff members who served and cooked the food are heavy smokers, and the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming outside and inside the shop. I would not recommend eating at this place.

We always make sure we have a meal here - service is great, fish is excellent, chips, potato scallops etc all top value and quality. Recommend - although haven't ever seen on a plate with salad per their promo picture here ....must ask next visit as looks nice. Closed Mondays :(
