Altitude 1148 - BULLI

On Approaching the Bulli turn off after driving for around two hours I noticed the Altitude 1148 cafe and thought i would stop off for a quick shot of coffee and a toasted ham cheese and tomato melt. After parking the car I was walking back to the restaurant from the car park when I noticed the amazing view definitely worth a couple of photos,on entering the Altitude 1148 I was greeted by a very polite who asked if he could be of assistance and would I be eating in. I proceeded to order my Macchiato Coffee and a toasted Ham Cheese and tomato Toastie only to be informed that they do not sell Pork products, No problems the Chicken Tikka wrap certainly filled the gap and was certainly tasty and the Macchiato perfect

Food was okay with a very Indian influenced flavour. Nothing to write home about but perfectly acceptable. Three real reward is the view from the verandah which is nothing short of breathtaking looking north and south up the coast. Well worth the trip.

Steak overdone! Palak paneer anything but fresh and mild... The complementary cakes were very tasty.

Friday night and there's only five in the restaurant at 5.30 pm,food came quick,entrées plentiful and nothing to complain about there,more than enough to eat,main meal followed straight after,unfortunately too full for dessert.overall a very nice place,seating a bit chatty needs a good clean,exceptional views over Wollongong,just a bit awkward to get in and out as the road can be very busy.

The views from the Café are outstanding and the food is nice so the whole experience was worth the pit stop.
