Booking definitely required. We tried to get a table by turning up, but they didn’t have anything available for some time. Luckily they do take out boxes for their pizzas which were delicious. We booked a table for later in the week. When we went back, we had a delicious meal with various charcuterie boards as well as carpaccio. This was followed by the biggest steaks I’ve ever seen and eaten. My wife and I shared a T Bone, whilst others in the family had a different cut. The steaks are cooked rare you don’t get asked for your preference, but then again, why would you have a steak cooked any other way? Ample selection of desserts with change regularly, so you need to see what they’ve got at the time. It was a pricey meal, but then again, I’m not going to have such an exquisite steak any time soon.

If you want a restaurant with a nice atmosphere that will serve you straight honest comfort food without being overly pretentious, this is the one to go to. It smells just like my late grandmother's kitchen. The staff are lovely and helpful, the place is child friendly while remaining perfectly welcoming for adults.
