The Cookhouse At Ta Ranch Buffalo

We decided to share the Reef and Beef dish among the two couples, but honestly, it could have easily fed all four of us! It was absolutely delicious! The scallops and vegetables had a perfect char, the steak was tender and packed with flavor, and the crispy potatoes were so incredible that it was hard to believe they were actually potatoes! It was truly a special dining experience! It was so good that we made a special stop on our way home from Yellowstone to eat there again, and it was just as spectacular the second time around! The chef may be young, but he is exceptionally talented, with inspired pairings and presentations of meats, sauces, and sides.

Interesting history and a refreshing alternative to a typical steakhouse.

Can't believe I waited this long to go to the TA Ranch for dinner. I'll be back soon for sure!

We decided to celebrate my wife's birthday at The Cookhouse, and it was a lovely choice. The place is beautiful, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We really enjoyed the Brussels sprouts appetizer, as well as the Caesar salad. However, our steak had a lot of fat on it. While it was quite flavorful, we both ended up having to cut away about half of it.

We are within 2 weeks of completing a 3 month Motorhome adventure across Canada the Midwest. Our meal at TA Ranch Cookhouse was the best meal we have had while on our trip! The Shrimp Baguette appetizer was the most amazing version of Shrimp Toast I have ever eaten! Our Steaks and Scallops main entry were perfectly done. It was my birthday and The Cookhouse treated me to a wonderful Lemon Ricotta Cake topped with Blueberries. This was a truly amazing meal!
