The place was full by 815pm with a swarm waiting for their turn by 930pm. So get there early... The food is cooked primarily out of the woodfire oven and the open plan kitchen let's you see all the action. The menus are in Spanish and English, with pretty much all the staff capable in English too. Food comes out quick and the big divergence from the rest of Argentina is the respect shown to vegetables. This is not a place where salads are shredded carrots with lettuce and tomatoes. There is some serious thought in the cookery and composition of the plates with vegetable very much a focus. They do of course serve meat. No negatives to soak of, especially since I was waiting for them to open and was an early sitting. Great mix to meat heavy Argentina
On the list as place to eat again in the time and time in ba. amazing! I wish they had a steak available when we left, but the fish was great. we had calamari and brokkoli, trout, shisitos, etc. great dinner.
Do not miss this wonderful place. it is really a kind of experience. everything we ordered was something new and exciting. each dish will make their taste buds in wise that they never thought possible. the small dishes are really small, but still interchangeable and larger dishes are not so much bigger, but again they can share with one or two people, depending on how much they order overall. for two of us, with 5 small dressed, 2 large, 2 desserts, 4 drinks it came to about 80 usd before drinking. be there early or they will wait a long time as the place is tiny and there is a line. still worth every penny for me!
This was one of my favorite restaurant experiences of all time. in a small hidden entrance of a quiet street in polrmo, the interieur offers a cozy dining room next to the open kitchen where you can see the personal together the delicious dishes. the service was unbelievable and friendly, offers advice about the number of tellers and wine selection. we were a group of 4 and divided brot, salted paprika (super tasty! , heirloom tomatensalat (our favorite side dish, zuchinni and rabit to start. then we split the special of the day, a 45-day-old of 1kg ribeye and roasted aubergine and cheese. that was the best steak I ever had in a restaurant and was better than in Argentinia. this was also the hands down the best flan in the world, with its perfect consistency and rich taste. this will be a very special place for us and will wait well every moment.
Never the evening dinner is properly tired. fresh ingredients, innovative but always correct combinations of aromen. menu changes seasonal, but flan de dulce de leche is always there for the final. they also offer gluten-free bread and are eager to show which dishes are suitable (almost all are).
