Our first visit to Palermo, we were attracted to the restaurant by the menu, the colours the impression of quality and the charming manager. The menu is described as fusion gourmet, although fusion is not being used in the usual sense of fusion within a dish, rather the collection of dishes it seems. Our first two dishes were edible but totally unseasoned, including no dressing on the salad and no dressing available when requested. I guess the hint had been there from the start when we were asked before tasting if we'd like salt and pepper on the table. But then we were given two main dishes neither of which we had ordered, the manager had made an assumption he said. He was apologetic. We embraced the holiday spirit and saw it as an adventure. The lamb and the salmon were again so plain and without flavour. But the final insult was when the manager ( the waitress apparently had not turned up for work) refilling the wine glasses, poured the wine onto the plate of lamb in his enthusiasm. The food was replated, which meant my partner ate solo, the food got cold and the flavour didn't improve.Of course, there was no reduction in the bill.Faulty towers, for those Brits who are reading. The setting and the rooms are lovely though.
We happened to walk by this restaurant and entered and it was delicious. First off it's adorable and the layout is very unique and cool with all rooms being a different color theme. We were given a small drink on the house which was delicious, then the menu was excellent all of our food was perfect and the service was great. Definitely brought my friends back!
The restaurant houses in a lovely setting: a colonial house with colourful rooms and a lot of eye for detail, such as fresh flowers and candles. The menu is slightly off the traditional track, and, depending of the mood of the cook, excellent or so so. We love the salad with salmon and mango, and their choice for rose wine, which accompanies this dish excellently, is very good - surprising in an Argentinean restaurant. The lomo dish and the fish of the day are to be recommended. Pastas sometimes fail. The restaurant nevertheless always provides for a lovely evening.
Salmon was perfectly cooked despite being reluctant to order seafood in BA. It was a nice change from all the steak. Friends ordered lamb and the chicken and were very impressed. Perfect lunch spot.
