Warm welcome and menu not complicated. Quite a long wait for main course. Service friendly and professional.
I liked this place. It was cozy and well run with a simple menu and an organize idea. Its located in Las Canitas, in a well populated area of restaurants and cafes. The place its ideal for either grab a simple bite or have an afternoon tea style cafe. The environment its a little bit rustic, with lots of country decoration and maintaining a simple style. Still, it has some complexity within the details of the cutlery and the china. The menu was simple and smart. Not too many choices, not too short. With quality dishes that were not either too simple nor too complex. This way, the kitchen provides good dishes and doesn't get too complicated. Quality wise, the food was very good. I had a goulash stew, while my wife had a fajita dish and my friend a chicken parmesan style dish. Portions were okay and sufficient, and the food came quite fast from the kitchen. The breadbasket was okay as well with fresh bread and a nice home made mayonnaise. Service wise, it was okay. Staff was friendly and helpful (although not very charismatic). It maintain a healthy distance, and didn't rush us at all. The dishes were not pricey, with entrees around 60 to 80 pesos and mains around 100-120. Argentina's inflation may change the prices but its a cheap option around this neighborhood. Love to come back if i'm in the area again.
Located in Las Cañitas, this place is open from early morning, for breakfast, snacks, light lunches or dinners...good service, and nice food, worth the price and the pleasant place.
