Exedra - Buenos Aires

Looks like an upscale place, but the service is worse and slower than in Santiago, Chile. And the place was practically empty. Just wanted to grab a quick beer and a couple of empanadas and the waiter was almost furious for not getting what he recommended.

Nice and comfortable place but service not nice at all. Salmon dish not as they recommended and they give frozen bread! Nice appearance but not enough to me.

We had the chance to visit twice during our time in Buenos Aires.. first time we just had a drinks and my smoothie was so good! Tasted fresh and not too sweet (nutritivo; kiwis orange and another fruit) we visited a second time the next day because I really wanted the same smoothie but it didn’t come out the same and was a totally different taste! So bummed. On our second visit we also decided to order some food and saying we were disappointed is a huge understatement. Caesar salad tasted like the dressing was pure mayo, no flavor at all (the shrimps were good). The spaghetti tasted like it was pre boiled and then boiled again to order..

Maybe the older waiter and the chef had had bad days, but the meal was sub standard (really tough and over done steak) and the waiter was clearly above giving anything that could be classed as minimum service. Would not recommend to freind or foe.

The price is much higher than on the menu. Food is barely eatable. Worst restaurant ever.
