Crizia - Buenos Aires

Ugh. What are they doing?! Service was meant to be “attentive” but it was just overwhelming and poor quality Got a glass of wine and couple of oysters .. so far, so good. Then I ordered scallops appetizer and mentioned at least a half dozen times that I don’t eat cheese. And there it was .. with cheese all over it. Frustrated, I just asked for the check and was surprised to see they added the scallops, and a premium service charge. In effect, I paid $40 for what was a disappointing experience.

Absolutely delicious food and service! If Argentina had Michelin Star rankings, I'm sure she would give one to this restaurant. The best food I tried in Buenos Aires. We had a starter and a main course for 2 and it was more than enough, the waiter brought small delicious bites. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Argentina!

Had dinner on Saturday night. It was a great experience. We were attracted by the fresh oysters, but also tried three of the starters and two main courses. This is creative and authentic cuisine of a large level. Everything is in balance. Food, design, lighting, wine selection, music. We're coming back!

The only photo that was taken because the food was too good to wait. This cocktail also: Actually, the best gastro experience in Argentina is safe. And thank Estephania for a great service. The Argentine oysters are a must. Calamars were delicious. All we took was super delicious. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and I hope to come back.
