Contribuiți la feedbackWhile Barbacoa is not all that is easy to find, it is worth the effort. During a ten-day visit to Buenos Aires in November and after eating steak every night, the best steak we had in Barbacoa was. Wine varieties and price also... very good. The menu is very limited a traditional parrilla list of cuts of beef andfal with chicken and pig, along with some pasta dishes and all this better. This is a well-run family steak house, protected by locals. We seemed to be the only foreigners who eat in the night we visited. The restaurant was recommended by an Argentine friend who used to live nearby. Next time in Buenos Aires in Barbacoa will go to dine again.
This is a traditional restaurant on a short Cobblestone street in a beautiful old building. The menu offers (big surprise) a long list of different meat cuts, but with a number of alternatives for non-ferrous eaters. Barbacoa is petty, so it does not produce...the type of interior noise that makes larger restaurants that make for a much more relaxed meal with friends. The word that jumps in mind to describe the feeling of the place is sweet . The menu is quite standard for traditional Argentine restaurants - the food is simply prepared and very good. Service was excellent with good recommendations to help us make decisions. I definitely go back.
I visited here once in January 2016. Located on a quiet street in Recoleta, you really need to know this place to go there. We shared a chorizo and bife de lomo with fiancese and we were not disappointed the chefs... really know how to cook with their parilla! If you are looking for a casual, local parilla place, this is your choice.
Came for dinner with the family after reading the reviews. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and I like the fact it's off the main streets. Unfortunately the food was sub par and the service was very inattentive. Our meat was over cooked and...the pasta very bland. Net, nice looking place but food is very average.
You might walk past this spot but that would be a mistake, It opens up into a welcoming local parilla. Appears to be family operated with helpful staff and a nice choice of reasonably priced wines and dishes. We like our meats cooked on the...rare side and both our steaks came out exactly as we ordered them. Also had a lovely salad. All in all agood meal
