647 Dinner Club - Buenos Aires

A very trendy Asian fusion restaurant with many fun restaurants and bar areas, including bed-style sun loungers. Very comfortable, delicious food and drink! It's called 647, the address is Tacuari 647. Good for a late night out if you want to feel like a celebrity without paying London-style celebrity prices.

All over town to come to this place. At 8:30 a.m./9 p.m., the area was left. From the outside the building looks down and no lights were on. We checked the address and we stood before Tacuari 647. After asking if someone had heard about 647 Dinner Club, the locals told us they never heard of it. We never have to try it. Is this place still?

We would have to agree with the title of Best Restaurant in BA for 647. We went recently as our final meal of the holiday after hearing many good things and found them out to be true. The food was really a level above any other place we had ate and it was a wonderful way to say goodbye to the city.

We discovered this restaurant through Conde Naste Traveller's Hot List 2008. It was featured as one the the best new restaurants of 2008 in the world. We decided to go and as with all highly touted places we wondered whether it would live up to the hype. The place itself is decorated beautifully and was totally different to any other restaurant we had visited in the Buenos Aires. Firstly its in what to us appeared like a dishevelled part of the city,we realised after being here a few days that it was San Telmo a historic past of BA.....anyway our initial reservations where banished after entering the opulent sorroundings of the restauarant. The whole experience was simply wonderful, even though you would think that such a cool place would make you feel slightly less than, the staff and the vibe was very warm and friendly. The star of the night though was the food. After eating subsequently in a number of other top places we give hands down the best meal eaten in BA to 647. The inventiveness of the plates and tastes where great and as an added bonus...the cocktails are great to.:

We have been at 647 dinner club for a day during our visit, nice clean dishes and at good prices too! We all enjoyed our lunch, worth the visit!
