Louie's Ice Cream Shoppe - Buena Vista

Amazing!!! My son spotted this restaurant while we were dining at House Rock across the street. The courtyard was really nice. The staff was friendly and the flavors were unique. I tried the Vegan Salted Cookie (lactose is not good for an old guy like me) and it was delicious. I didn't even miss the real cream. The cookie had both small and large chunks, ensuring there was some in every bite and providing a nice texture. My son had the chocolate and he devoured it within 3 seconds (not that he got a small portion). Overall, a great experience!

I am giving this restaurant 4 stars because the ice cream was amazing, especially the homemade waffle cone. However, I was a bit surprised that it cost $18 for two cones, even though they were double scoops with waffle cones.

The ice creams at this restaurant are deliciously creamy and soft. Unfortunately, they do not offer samples, making it difficult to choose a flavor. The outdoor seating area is lovely, with a cozy garden atmosphere.

Excellent icecream! I recommend getting a flight so you try 6 flavors of your choice. The flavors are clearly made on location from the taste. The outdoor seating is nice and I found a little chess table and pieces. (There are other little fun outdoorthings to look at too. The line can get a little long but you will see that they are making a great pace while theyattentively serve everyone. (The line moves well. If you feel like giving a little extra support they have T-shirts forsales. It was interesting to see that the spoons have their own recycling.

This ice cream shop is PERFECT for a relaxed visit with tons of space and things for the kids to play on including a rope wall. We got the salty cookie ice cream and a pup bone cup which our pup loved. Would return!
