A pro is the unlimited Knott’s Jelly and Jam for toast and biscuits, but on the con side, some may find the pancakes too spongy, the grapefruit a little dry, and no fresh squeezed fruit juice available. There may also be longer lines after 10am. The dinner menu at Knott’s is more impressive, with set menus that include fried chicken, pudding, pie, and mashed potatoes. The warm, buttery biscuits are a particularly tasty highlight. The atmosphere is very country, with all waitresses resembling white grandmas who embody the spirit of Mrs. Knott. The restaurant is divided into three rooms, with one room near an artificial pond that may be a bit murky and chlorine-smelling. The other two rooms are much cozier and spacious. Overall, if you’re craving some southern comfort food, Mrs. Knott’s is the place to go. The dinner is recommended, while the breakfast may not be as impressive. The brunch buffet is popular and their boysenberry and strawberry jams make great gifts for moms and tea-lovers.
I have never tasted such terrible chicken and rolls before. I remember when this restaurant used to be the best, so I was incredibly disappointed when the chicken was tough and undercooked, the rolls were bitter, and the pie was inexcusable - no berries and tasted like it had been bought instead of freshly baked as it used to be. The restaurant desperately needs a refurbishment, and the tables were too close together and cramped. The only positive aspect was our server, who tried her best to improve the situation, but unfortunately, even she couldn't salvage the experience. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
We love the beautiful buffet and the delicious food. Great carving stats and staff. You can name the cut and pick the “throw away “ cuts. We have attended this buffet numerous years and have never seen disappointed. There is great selection of food, main course, sides and absolutely the greatest selection of desserts.
For Thanksgiving buffet at 16:00. when we set ourselves and went to the estuary to repair our teller, eating was cold, the heckos were not even illuminated to keep eating hot. most of the station looked like nobody had wiped the food stations. our expectations were clearly not fulfilled during this culinary experience. we had expected the buffet to look like this and everything the guests had before our arrival. the buffet looked off and not very appealing. many food choices have been missed and marked incorrectly. that was not dessert, except dried cupcakes and leafcakes. no dead is no other dessert choices as advertised. the price of this buffet is not favorable for a party of four. we were pretty embarrassed after telling our family how good it should be.
Our waiter was very nice. the food was disappointing. that was cold. the peasant potatoes were hard to chew. eating hadn't tasted much. the turkey was probably the best we had. salat was sad, quite just salat. rolled were hard. not a good meal, how much we paid. I just wanted to be honest. another thing I noticed was the bad lighting, I couldn't see well.
