Riverside Bar and Restaurant - Buderim

Great spot for a modestly priced but tasty meal, before or after the movies. Have been here twice, and had the 200gm steak with pepper sauce, chips and salad. On both occasions, it was cooked as requested, and was very enjoyable. The staff are particularly friendly and obliging. Nice spot overlooking the river, opposite the cinemas in the Sunshine Plaza shopping complex.

Went there for a quick bite before a movie date with my wife. Ordered our meals on the two for Tuesday deal and asked if my wife could substitute the chips for a potato. Was told no but she could get mash as a side dish for an extra $5.00 which begrudgingly I agreed to. ( No accounting for the forgone chips though) I ordered the steak to be done medium. Meals arrived promptly and my steak came with mushroom sauce which I hate. I asked for it to be substituted for a pepper sauce and was told no, it would have to be a side! I asked to see the manager (either a yank or Canadian) who came. What a piece of work she is. Totally in the wrong job as she had no PR skills whatsoever. Said she would substitute it his once but in future I would have to specify even though the mushroom was not even mentioned on the menu. No need to worry, there won't be a next time! The other staff were nice though. Also my medium steak was well done and the mash was lumpy! Total **** and ruined my night. Don't go there!

I was searching for a good value meal to feed my family after late night shopping, and this restaurant delivered. For only $20, we each had a surf and turf meal with a beer. The food was tasty and presented well. Although the steak was on the smaller side (200 grams), it was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean.

We booked a table the day before for 19 people. Not only did they get us in and we got great customer service but the food was fantastic! All 19 of us were really really happy with our meals. It was a great night, can't thank them enough!

Went to riverside bar and restaurant for the first time on Thursday night. It just so happened to be $20 surf n turf night. The restaurant was busy but had a great vibe. The staff where very friendly and attentive. The food came out really fast and the presentation was beautiful. The Chicken Parma was very tasty and the surf n turf was excellent. We will be back for sure!
