Harry's on Buderim

The food was good, though somewhat overpriced, the wait staff was predominantly young women, who in our opinion still need quite a bit more training in the art of service for an a la carte restaurant, as the service let the dining experience down somewhat, unfortunately for us we probably wont be retuning for awhile, which is a shame as we have been visiting it for 25+ years

We can't speak more highly of Harry's on Buderim for the exceptional service/food and venue they provided for my late mother's Memorial Lunch on the wettest coldest day in Buderim. From the start booking was easy with no ridiculous deposit and room charges. We had a family group of 18 and Lisa and her Team never pressured us over numbers leaving it to the day before to lock in numbers. Weather was terrible on the day and not everything could run to schedule as roads were closed locally but nothing phased the staff with late guests. Zoe took care of our room and was just so professional and accommodating. Room was dressed beautifully and we just added our own special table with Mums Ashes. Food and service were absolutely top notch. We had 2 Course Set Menu and variety and food delicious. 2 Children also accommodated. It was an emotional day but the Team from Harry's just made it all happen for us. My family and in particular my father was overwhelmed at how well the day went. We would highly recommend Harry's on Buderim for any special event. Just the perfect day. Thank you

We have been to Harry’s a number of times and it is consistently great. On this occasion the standout meal was the crispy skinned barramundi which was superbly cooked and came with both a roasted red capsicum sauce and a salsa verde both of which complemented the fish very well. The other mains we had (duck and pork) were also very good as were the entrees particularly the marinated quail. We will be coming again and this is our pick of restaurants on the Sunshine Coast.

The fare was mediocre and it was difficult for us to understand why the restaurant has the rating it has. We were seated in the outside section with a dirty weather screen right against the table. We will definitely not be recommending Harry’s to anyone

The house is beautiful and has so much potential to deliver an awesome dining experience. This is a pricey so called fine dining experience. Unfortunately Harry has forgotten that he is in the hospitality industry. We booked and were placed under the AC, we asked to be moved to one of the 3 other vacant tables. They said they couldn’t help because they were under staffed. Not sure how the maths works on this as the staff member could have just served us at the other table a few metres away. Even when the next table from us became vacant, with no further customers attending, they did not offer to move us. I ordered a bottle of wine, after the initial glass was poured it was self service from there. If we weren’t freezing our asses off we might have had another drink and ordered desert. It’s not the AC that upset me, it’s the lack of hospitality. Would not return, there are much better options.
