Bacon and 2 perfectly cooked eggs with real toast (nice and thick) and a large pot of tea was less than $20 for 2 people. The bacon itself was worth going for. Unprentious but great value for money and "homely" atmosphere. Very hard to beat anywhere.
Went for breakfast here this morning. While the breakfast was fine and of reasonable value, I could not help but notice the dust turned to now black dirt on the top of the waist high bessa block structure that surrounds the interior. Then when we went to pay I noticed the dust on side of the counter(corrugated iron) was also thick. Makes one wonder what the kitchen was like...Toilet had no toilet paper and no paper in the hand towel dispenser. You be your own judge but I won't be back until I hear it is as clean as one would expect - after all, aren't all restaurants supposed to comply with a certain level of health standards?
Found this little joint by accident. In a side street with an interesting basic beach decore. The breakfast was so good we returned a second time over the easter weekend.
We were staying at the Mylos Apartments that are next time the Outback Kitchen, so we thought it made sense to get breakfast here and who can go past a sign that says $4.50 breakfasts!?With 3 kids in tow, we ordered up only to be told the breakfasts were $4.90. This was fine with us. 2 children got French toast with bacon and maple syrup, which was a huge hit. One child got bacon and eggs. This was a massive size and she was unable to eat it all. Amazing value for money there!I got the mushrooms with goat cheese and asked for a poached egg to come with it. This meal was so incredibly delicious but it could have had a bit more goat cheese. My partner got a big breakfast and it was exactly as described. He enjoyed every bit of it. I also got a freshly squeezed pineapple juice that I didn't enjoy. It was also quite small for $6 and not worth it. All in all we really enjoyed our breakfasts and we will return again.
This little family run business is tucked away but well worth finding. Food is basic but well cooked and priced. Breakfasts are great with lots of choice and nice freshly squeezed juices, not bottled juices that other high end providers serve you. They do dinners on selected nights as well (Thai cuisine). We didn't try dinner as it was not on offer whilst we were in the area. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.Lots of family gatherings there while we were there...understandably because a nice breakfast out is affordable for the whole family at this spot.
