La Palapa - Bucerías

I had Chilaquiles after the kayaking in the morning. I order it everywhere and these weren't good. The part was small, the beans were watery. My egg was over boiled and hard. I just liked the fresh orange juice. To finish it... it was the most expensive for the meal. Also in Puerto Vallarta I have never paid so much. I'll never return.

We were with a return group (last trip was before-COVID) to celebrate a birthday party. A big table was reserved for the party on the beach. The setup and service were excellent. The meal was well presented and excellent and the service staff was very attentive, always a good time in La Palapa.

What a great culinary experience to sit on the sand and the breeze enjoy the morning sunrise very few distractions crashing with the exception of the waves, the food was excellent one of the best breakfast we had in a while

Hello friends, I went to this restaurant today for the very first time. Waitress and owner were so rude. They also tried to overcharge us for drinks and food. When waitress brought the bill, she also added an extra 80 pesos for charging my phone...(never seen this anywhere around the world). They later said this was an “optional tip” but there was cleaely no option! When I asked explanations about the bill (680 pesos) for 2 tequilla shots, 2 lemonades and guacamole to the owner, she said they added “optional tip” to the bill. Then she said I am not welcome there anymore and tried to make me leave. I insisted so she returned part of my money and threw some on it on the floor. TERRIBLE PEOPLE, please DON’T go there !!!! I also want to say I have been going to Mexico for years and never had this happen to me.

Ate here my first night and I must say, it was a great choice. The ocean view was as good as the food. Service was attentive and not pushy. You've got to go...I'll be back.
