The Grog Restaurant - BRYN MAWR

The dinner menu changed from what is online. I expected a large menu. My beer was not cold and the service was awkward about it. I ended up having to drink 2 beers because he put the first one on ice while I drank the second not cold beer he brought. The steak and Frittes was all french fries and very little meat. My impossible burger was OK but the fried were the best part of the meal.

First time at the Grog Grill. Our server was AWESOME! Wished I remembered her name. The food was good bar food. We'll definitely try again.

This place has surprisingly good, reliable and affordable food for what is primarily a bar. We’ve been here several times, and are pleased with the freshness of the salads and variety of options on the rest of the menu.

If you 're under 30 and looking for a loud bar with over-priced ho hum food, this joint is fine. Over 30 and want more than fries with that ? There are many dine eateries within walking distance.

It's a reliable place; you can get more than bar food there, since they offer dinners. The fish and chips tasted very fresh; the chili was good, but a bit dry. But their salads are fresh and abundant. The prices are reasonable. It's one of our main go-to places when we're attending a movie at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute; it’s walking distance from there. The service is prompt and friendly.
