Mo-mo - Brussel Belgie

It was the first time we had a Tibetan dumplings. It was a tasty dinner (dumplings taste a bit like Polish pierogi, but have a better stuffing). Together with dumplings you get a soup and some vegetables. Whole dinner is vegetarian friendly and is very tasty and fills your belly.

We ate at Momo just a little while ago. My husband and I both got the dinner menu 6 dumplings, soup, and vegetables. The food was absolutely delicious. Being ignorant of Tibetan cuisine, I cannot speak to authenticity, but the mixed selection of dumplings consisted of two filled with a carrot based mix, two filled with a broccoli based mix, and two meat dumplings that reminded me of pot stickers. The soup was a cream-like mushroom soup with a very delicate seasoning, and the vegetables were steamed with light seasoning served with the dumpling sauce. I couldn’t finish all of the dumplings, but it was just the right amount of food for my husband. With two bottles of water the whole meal was €30. The customers are primarily regulars who know the drill. It was a little confusing for a tourist who speaks no French, but the owner/staff? was helpful and did speak some English. The night we were there they only accepted cash, but the note was handwritten so that may be temporary. On this Saturday evening it got very busy as we were leaving at 7pm.

Healthy, tasty and fairly priced. I wish there was more control over what type of filling you get in a dumpling soup the mushroom filling is the best, but you can't know if you will find them in your soup or not. The staff is very pleasant.

Very nice experience: Momo offers lunch formulas between 11 and 12.5 euros, including a good portion of house ravioli (about 6) with various vegetables (steam or fried), a broth, and a portion of steamed vegetables. Simple, healthy, fresh, tasteful and good value for money! The original beers come from Beer Storming, a Brussels micro brewery located right next to you! Restricted, but well controlled!
