Ole Times Country Buffet - Brunswick

I traveled all the way from Jacksonville with my son to dine here, and I was consistently impressed with both the food and service we received. Given that we made the journey from Jacksonville, Florida, the food had to be exceptional. I just wish there was a location closer to me; I would definitely visit often.

The food has definitely improved since my last visit under the new owners. However, I’m still unsure about the prices. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was excellent. Everything was enjoyable; I didn't try the soup or any desserts. It's a regular stop for me after church. We had a gathering with family friends for Resurrection Day, and everything was delightful. The buffet remained plentiful, and the flavors were great. The staff was friendly, courteous, and hardworking—especially the waitress.

We stopped here on our way back from North Carolina and were initially hesitant due to a previous review. However, the food was amazing, true homestyle Southern cooking, and we left feeling completely full! My kids especially loved the fried fish, chicken tenders, and all the desserts. I was particularly impressed by the variety of vegetables offered. The bathrooms were clean, but I wish there were an elevator. Overall, I would definitely come back!

Love it!. I love good old home cookin and this place does it well. You can eat at Golden Corral anywhere, but this place is a nice alternative. I try to get in there every time I'm in town. I recommend it highly!
