Golden Chopsticks - Brunswick

It doesn?t appear that this restaurant is open anymore. Glad I didn?t pay online and chose the pay at store option. I ordered online on Sunday and it said it would be ready by 7:30p. I went there and everything was covered up. The sign still says open until 9pm. The website does as well.

We went to Golden chopsticks to get dinner tonight. It was horrible. I wish I could post the pictures of the food I received. I couldn't even bite into the teriyaki chicken it was do hard and dry. The teriyaki beef was almost white. The BBQ pork was all fat. The chicken wings were so dry they had no meat on them you could eat. This used to be my favorite place. Not anymore. The place I used to recommend to many people has gone down hill. I took pictures but there is no way to post them.

I ordered the garlic combination with beef, chicken, and shrimp, asking for it to be extra spicy. Unfortunately, the vegetables, which included large chunks of onion and green pepper, were only slightly cooked. The shrimp tasted off, while the chicken and beef were drenched in an overly sweet sauce that lacked any spice or significant garlic flavor. I couldn’t finish the meal. It was quite disappointing for $15, and I wouldn't recommend it.

In the last few months, I have been here 3-4 times. What once was the best Cinese food anywhere around, this place has turned into garbage. My last visit, i was told 15-20 minutes. After 50 minutes, i finally got my food. It was so gross, we threw most of it out. I will not back.

Solidly good. The garlic sauce is oddly sweet, and I wish the menu included brown rice, BUT the curry, Hunan, soups, and appetizers are very good. Also the shrimp is fresh and vegetables are delicately cooked. Very glad to have this local food option!
