Contribuiți la feedbackI had lunch here and had the vegetarian plate. It was a good-sized salad with chickpeas (so protein had clearly been considered), and was very tasty. The service speed was perfectly reasonable (although this was when there were few other customers), and the price was likewise very reasonable for food in a tourist location.
It took 45 minutes just to get a cold salad. The food was very basic just a salad with cheese and duck. We had only 2 slides of bread. The location is nice but that’s it.
Had a lovely lunch here, simple, honest fresh local produce. Great service, lovely team, very happy!
We stumbled upon the Café 's courtyard garden on a very quiet Saturday and were the only customers. The owner was very welcoming, the garden lovely and warm even in October. The food was very good but there were only two choices of warm dishes, which was a shame. The rosé was delicious and reasonably priced. We had a problem with our payment and the owner was very helpful, she could not have been better, really!
Having walked from Montricoux with the intention of having lunch in Bruniquel was disappointed to find only one eating place open Cafe Elia. However, need not have worried Elia's Plat du Jour had home made savoury tart with salad, followed by ice cream made within the area. All in all a lovely meal served with a smile. Would definitely recommend. One moot point the terrace/garden could do with a little TLC.
