Enotheque K. Bernardi - BRUNICO

Wanted a bit of cuisine locale accompanied by unique lovely wines and found l Enotheque! Close to the central street and the river traversing Brunico, this place is a real gem in the village! A great variety and offer of wines on the glass, some very nice local south tyrolian ones, like Lagrain or Sylvaner, made a great match to well cooked meals, mainly protein composed. You will not find pasta in Enotheque, unless the Chef has a different opinion! However pasta is not in the menu card. But you ll find fantastic, juicy and yummy meats, even a 600gr entrecôte to die for! Salads are simply ok, not really special, even sometimes boring like a caprese with very mature (sic) and tasteless tomatoes. They could have preferred cherry tomatoes with strong taste or pomodori from southern Italy. I also tried their tiramisu: was sublime! So I tried it twice! Tip: l'enotheque also runs a special store with wines, spek and local charcuterie and cheeses in the central street. Don t leave Brunico without paying a visit there too. And don t forget to ask for advise the owner and kind staff running the place. L enotheque is highly appreciated by the locals too, meaning that you won t find touristic food and wine, but real ones! Also note that their toilettes are clean and fresh! Though you have to take a stair down to reach. If I could make a suggestion, maybe change the sitting chairs to something more comfortable and with character, and please translate the menu card in English! A must go and go again!

If you are wine lover, its very good to stop here. Very cozy interior, large selection of open wine bottles.

Cane here with a friend for lunch on the terrace as we rode our bikes in Pustertal. Great quality food and very reasonable prices for how beautiful, healthful and well-executed these dishes are. The terrace is an oasis in Bruneck, right along the river. Highly recommend!!

Wine/restaurant level. small but cozy place in the center of brown. wide choice of dishes and good variety of wines. Ton veal with caramelized onions very good and quality smoked salmon. right prices (for two dishes, three glasses, a dessert and two euro of coffee.) recommended

Restaurant in brunneck, great ambiente, very friendly and helpful. the food-house-Beizter lachs with leaf salat- was excellent. table reservation is recommended. to visit the wine cellar and the ham cellar with tasting should be agreed in any case.
