Dee's Twin Gable Cafe Lounge - Brule

I was in the area for a family reunion, and my cousin suggested Twin Gables for their Friday Night Fish Fry. Once I arrived, I decided to try the Walleye, which is something you just can’t find in Southern California. I have to say, it was outstanding! I also ordered the Creamy Hash Browns, and they were among the best potatoes I've ever had. I highly recommend visiting Twin Gables for their Walleye. It was so delicious that I'm glad we ordered a third piece! Now I just need to hit the gym for a few days to work off the extra calories.

I really don't enjoy writing this, but I feel it's important to mention that I experienced food poisoning from the broasted chicken. Other than that incident, it's a fantastic place to eat.

Amazing made from scratch home style meals and desserts! Always received great service, and the owners are some of the kindest people.

Run, don't walk to this place!! Super clean during Covid. Staff is terrific down to earth. Food is amazing. We ordered more food to go because it was so good. Ask for the white chicken chili!! Blueberry Rhubarb pie...omg.

As first-time visitors to Brule, we were truly impressed by Twin Gables, which will definitely bring us back! The breakfast we had was fantastic. We ordered a full serving of biscuits and gravy alongside the country fried steak, and both dishes arrived piping hot and bursting with flavor. Our waitress was attentive and took great care of us, and it was refreshing to see how thoroughly the tables were cleaned between diners. The bathroom was also remarkably clean. Overall, a wonderful experience!
