The restaurant is pretty beautiful and situated in a alley of downtown. During our visit, he hit us in the eye and we decided that it was where we would eat the same evening. We presented ourselves there early and we did well, the rooms (small) quickly filled. The interior decoration makes old, and at the Christmas period there is a tree in each room. It is dark and very warm, which adds to the winter atmosphere. The dishes are good, but a little more expensive than elsewhere. On the other hand, they are copied, neither of us has finished. Traditional Flemish dishes are available. The wait is, however, endless. Between order and service, we waited 45 minutes. The staff was correct but no more, except the young waitress who was charming. The oldest were clearly not happy to speak French... Restaurant to advise despite everything, one feels much less taken for a tourist than in those located on the Markt and which has much more charm.
It is very good but the price is high (but we are in Bruges). The menu is available on the net which even allows to see the pictures of the dishes. Look at the wine prices before entering. The isolated situation a few steps from a busy street surprises. We think we're going back to a small restaurant but the inside with 3 rooms and 20 table is bigger than expected and there are 5 experienced servers. I recommend herring on beet bed (the best maatjes I've ever eaten). Waterzooi is hearty and delicious. The burnt cream is burned in front of you. A little madness we won't regret.
Located in a quiet little alley, this restaurant offers Flemish specialties that are delicious (pink, wind vol, carbonnade, chicons... and well prepared. The dishes are very (see too copyy. The prices are pretty high. The interior is well decorated, but the tables are very small and it is very dark inside, which is a little oppressive, difficult to see what we have on its plate! The staff is not very pleasant and waiting between very long dishes. Think about booking if you want a table.
A very pleasant place, the service was impeccable, special dedication for Andréa who was our server and who was very busy with us, the food is local and fresh, everything is homemade. A very pleasant evening in a picturesque place. The only negative point I could evoke is the drinks that wasn’t fresh, but it’s not very serious because the ice-colds got it. I highly recommend.
