El Patio - Brühl

We looked for a late diner (21:00+) and received the suggestion to visit this nice restaurant in the middle of the Brühl city centre.They have like in Spain an old patio outside and the team was welcoming which is not very common as the kitchen tends to close soon...The menu was well sorted and four of us had salad, fish, meat and chicken dish. All of us were very happy with the selection and apart from that they offer the Spanish beer called Estrella (star) which is refreshing when it’s warm outside. Overall very nice and enjoyable stay :)

Nice atmosphere, cost, warm restaurant. Nice Tapas and steaks. Good wine and Good desserts. Will definitely be back again.

The restaurant is located in the city centre of Bruehl. There are large public parking right next to it. The restaurant is quite big with, like the name suggest, a big patio. The patio can be covered with large umbrellas, so no problem with the rain. We sat in the patio and it was quite nice. The menu is large. The dishes are really Spanish. The paella is made fresh and takes one hour to be prepared which sounds genuine. The service is OK too.

We went for a business dinner with a sizeable group (about 20), we got both hot and cold tapas, then a main (both fish and meat available in the menu) and dessert. All was very good, service friendly and attentive, the place was colourful but not too noisy, overall a very pleasant evening in a relaxed atmosphere. Some local colleagues already knew it, and were happy with the choice. I did not see the bill, but the prices on the menu looked reasonable. I can recommend El Patio, and will be happy to go back if there is the opportunity.

If you're looking for a nice spot to eat outside, we really enjoyed our dinner at El Patio. Full of Germans and our dinner was delicious.
