Twillys Sports Grill - Bruce Crossing

What a waste of space. When I walked, I almost turned around because of the overwhelming cigarette and deep fryer smell. Service was lousy at best. There were two stumbling drunk men at the bar making cat calls at the waitress. They later flipped off a state trooper. The menu looked so repulsive that I ended up not eating. If it wasn 't for that, I surely would 've passed on eating when the cool yelled out for a bandaid because she had sliced her finger again . A sports bar, this place is not. Unless two TVs turned to a low volume and no music is what you call a sports bar. We left and went next door to Char 's. You should do the same.

I absolutely adore the sandwiches at this restaurant! The chicken cordon bleu and meatball subs are amazing. And don't even get me started on their delicious BBQ wings!

Despite its unassuming exterior, Twillys/Da Yooper Way offers incredible food. The menu boasts a wide range of options including pizzas, sandwiches, and daily specials. My personal favorite is the Italian beef, a generous portion that can easily make two meals.

The service was excellent. My wife and I ordered the Philly cheese steak and a BBQ chicken wrap, both of which were fantastic. The French fries that came with our meal were also very good. The beer selection was great and there were plenty of TVs to watch. It's rare to find a restaurant like this in the middle of the northern woods.
