La Boucherie - Bruay-la-Buissière

Friendly staff and good food. Third time here and again very good.The food is simple, but very tasty. Nice atmosphere.

Having enjoyed a good starter we were looking forward to enjoying a nice main meal (steak). Unfortunately what followed was not a good experience with the steak not having been properly cooked. We sent the meals back and they were quickly replaced by even worse steaks. In the end we left our meals and settled up. We were not offered any form of apology by the lead staff member. This experience was all the more disappointing since after a long journey from the UK we were really looking forward to a good evening meal and the establishment had come recommended by our hotel. In fairness I would say that we spoke to other English customers that evening who advised that they had eaten well. From what they were saying we had made a mistake by selecting the cheaper option meat.

Fairly difficult menu to navigate (even the English one) but the meal deal is great value and good quality. The steak was cooked to perfection. Enjoyed it and nice staff. 15% discount voucher for this restaurant given out at the Ibis hotel 200 metres away to residents.

Having used this establishement at Bethune for the 1st time i had to write about it High quality cuts of Meats cooked to perfection,very energetic staff,good level of service great value for money,clean as most of The La Boucherie that we have ever been to. Quick service too Highly recommend to Us Brits on the way down just an hr away from calais. Made us very welcome with our dog Leo

Good choices in the menu. Good salads and agreeable service. Efficient staff. Good night out with colleagues. Would recommend.
