The White Lion Brinsley - Broxtowe

I recently visited a cozy pub with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The bar staff were extremely helpful. I ordered the pie of the day with homemade chips, which was a delicious homemade steak and ale pie. Although I only gave the food 4 stars because I felt the portion wasn't enough for me, I am a big eater when it comes to tasty food! My wife ordered a dish from the small plate menu, which had plenty for her and was reasonably priced. The overall price for beer and food was a bit on the higher side compared to Wetherspoons, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality. We will definitely be returning. I want to change my food rating to 5 stars as it's not the restaurant's fault that I have a big appetite.

Although we didn't have a meal, the restaurant has a fantastic variety of beers and a very welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Had a meal off the smaller dinners and it was spot on. Looking forward to trying other items.
