Mezzom Broxbourne

We have just returned from a valentines lunch. This was our first visit to shisbourne restaurant and it will most definitely be our last. The only nice part of our meal were the chips! The halloumi was like rubber, and oh my god the chicken dish!!!! Was so bad i have no words! The service wasn’t great and could have been more attentive. The manager just sits in the corner looking shifty watching everyone eat, looking like he’ll break your legs if you complain. Never again,

Great food, varied menu, amazing decor, fantastic service. The only downside was that it wasn’t as busy as it deserves.

We had the set menu lunch and it was amazing!! Such good value for the money. Food was delicious and great size portions. Great service!! Will definitely return.

Venue was nice, food was questionable. Moussaka was horrible, tasted like it had frozen veg in it and was microwaved, chicken shish looked good but i was fighting with it to cut and eat it. Best bit was what my kids ordered- chicken nuggets! The chips the came with it, but it could have been cooked a little bit longer. Service was also terrible, soooo sllloooww. We went on a Monday evening, there was our table and one other table, it took absolutely ages to make two mocktails and give the kids their J2O.

We went here on the off, because we had fami!y staying, the matridee was so helpful, suggesting wine and dishes..it was served beautifully, very fresh and hot....the whole restaurant is amazing decor.......could be over the top but special.......would go again.
