Taco Palenque Morrison - Brownsville

We visited this restaurant for the first time this evening while in town from Houston for the week, and we were eager to explore different taco spots. Let me tell you, this place is BY FAR better than many of the taco joints we've seen on TikTok. Initially, we were a bit hesitant since it's a chain restaurant, but it came highly recommended by some locals, so we decided to give it a shot. The service was EXCELLENT! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming!

The food is delicious, and the customer service is great. However, the restaurant could really benefit from a thorough cleaning. The tables are dirty and sticky along the edges.

This restaurant is an excellent choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They seldom make mistakes, and when they do, they promptly fix them. I usually order the fajita or chicken fajita tacos, and they are always delicious.

Excellent food, service, and decent atmosphere! The food is always hot and fresh, they constantly check on the customers to see if they are okay or missing anything, but it's usually heavily crowded during the weekends. Usually attracts large families with little kids who run around and misbehave, so beware!

Food was okay.The service was excellent. I gave 3 stars because there were so many flies everywhere. It grossed me out. A week before then, I had gone through drive-thru which took forever like always. One thing ,I noticed was that the lady taking out the orders kept vaping every chance she got before going back inside. I felt that was unsanitary and unprofessional on the job.
