New York Deli - Brownsville

Best reuben sandwich in town. Friendly staff. Quick service. Reuben is large enough for sharing. My husband and I split a sandwich and order an extra side (chips, slaw or potato salad with two unsweet teas (cups are huge! . We eat for around $20. Can't beat it.

Food was really good! They even give appropriate discounts! And that’s rare in Brownsville! Most establishments don’t seem to care! Great food, great place, great atmosphere!

Finally found a good Corned Beef Reuben here in the valley. Exactly as you would expect. Their in-house made Russian dressing is spot on. It is a casual “sit and order at the table of your choosing and pay at the register on the way out” place. The server I had was fantastic and very helpful. I could see that all the server’s worked very well together and kept watchful eyes on the customers. Parking in the front is sparse, but there is plenty of very nice parking behind their deli. I’ll be back for sure!

NY Deli never disappoints. My favorite day is Wednesday when they have their chicken tortilla soup.
