Liam's Steakhouse - Brownsville

This is a truly upscale restaurant. The service was exceptional, thanks to our wonderful server, Jessica. The food was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious, with a presentation that was very appealing. The dessert was fantastic as well. I highly recommend bringing your significant other here, especially if you find yourself in the doghouse for something silly you did; it’s sure to win their heart back. Lol. Overall, it was a delightful experience. Great job!

The food here is among the best I’ve ever tasted. The service was exceptional as well. Our server was fantastic, ensuring that all of our needs were met throughout our meal. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always brought us a fresh pot of coffee whenever she refilled her cup. The restrooms were very clean and spacious. The interior of the restaurant is extremely aesthetically pleasing, and the tables are large, providing plenty of space for dining. While this place isn't overly upscale, I would recommend dressing nicely. The entire menu is on the pricier side. My only issue is that, despite being a steakhouse, the menu features only a ribeye steak as a steak option, but there is a wide variety of seafood available.

The food was just okay. The calamari was rubbery, the asparagus portions were quite small, and the baked potato was the smallest I've ever encountered at a steakhouse in this price range. The prime rib had quite a bit of fat on it, but it was cooked well. On a positive note, the sautéed spinach was excellent.

I visited Liam's with my family and ordered the Filet Mignon for dinner, but the waiter informed us that they were out of it and apologized. Not a big deal, so we ordered the New York Strip instead. Forty minutes later, after our appetizers, soup, and wine, the waiter returned to tell us they were out of the New York Strip as well. The manager never came to our table to address the situation. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and they didn’t even offer to comp a soft drink. I would not recommend Liam's Steakhouse to my friends.

As a returning customer to this fantastic restaurant, I began my evening at the bar enjoying some appetizers and cocktails. I ordered the stuffed flounder, while my wife went for the NY strip steak. Our server, Robert, was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. The only hiccup we experienced was that our main courses arrived nine minutes after our salad and soup. Since we weren't quite halfway through our appetizers, our dinners sat on the table for about seven minutes before we started eating.
