What a great fair! One of the best County Fairs I've ever been to. Beautiful fairgrounds and a lot of good food to choose from. Nice people too. Putting this on my list to return to every year from now on.

While I do recommend the fair, I urge organizers to rethink a few things. 1. Allowing animals to be prizes through Poor Jack’s amusement company. I could’ve walked out with a fish, rabbit and crab. This isn’t responsible animal care. 2. Where do the kittens come from that are “for adoption”? Are they altered? Seems like a missed opportunity to partner with the Humane Society and have handouts on controlling the population/responsible pet care. 3. The ducks. By the end of the week those poor things are missing feathers and some are raw. They need to have access to food without having to go down the slide. There are so many great things at the fair; don’t let this overshadow everything else.

The Greatest County Fair in. the State! And it’s a free fair no admission to get in. You would think other County Fairs would follow suit? Keep up the great work Jackson County Fair board members!!!

Having sick unvaccinated kittens at your fair. How about promoting adoption and responsible pet ownership

Please reconsider allowing kittens to be part of your fair, especially if they are unhealthy, unvaccinated and unaltered. Be part of the pet overpopulation solution, instead of adding to the problem!!!
