La Fonda Mexican Kitchen - Brown City

I ordered the Quesabirria from the House Specialties section of the menu, which was supposed to include rice and beans. I ordered it for takeout and when I got home, there was no rice and beans included. I called the restaurant and was informed that they had recently changed the menu, and the dish no longer came with rice and beans. I was very disappointed, especially considering the price I paid for the meal.

The food at this restaurant was not only delicious but also very satisfying. The service was great, and the waitress was very pleasant. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with a ramp on the side of the building. We dined in for dinner and found the price per person to be between $10 and $20. I would rate the food and service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4. I highly recommend trying the Mexican Pizza and Wet Burrito.

This restaurant is very unpleasant. They only had one server, which resulted in a long wait to place an order. They charge for every little thing, unlike most Mexican restaurants that provide free chips and salsa. Here, a small bowl of salsa costs $1, which isn't even enough to go with the paid-for nacho chips. They even brought us food we didn't order and then charged us for it. I dined at this restaurant for the first time and was impressed by the generous portion sizes, reasonable prices, and delicious flavors. My dining companions and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and plan to return in the future. The standout dish for me was the excellent puff taco.

Screwed up my order, charged for extra cheese, when hardly any existed, charged for a chip refill even though we didn’t ask for a refill, finally charged an extra 4% for using credit (could have warned us ahead of time). Won’t be back Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100
