The Cross Keys - Brough

We were seated at a table for two, but would have preferred a larger table as we felt a bit cramped between the icy doors and the lavishly decorated ladies' restroom. My mother had the lasagna instead of the curry she had been looking forward to, and found it to be just alright, tasting like a reheated meal. On the other hand, my gammon was delicious! It came with a whiskey sauce that was absolutely fantastic. Even though we were quite full, we indulged in a mini dessert and a hot chocolate after a short break.

Beautiful place to come with my mother! they will go to place when they are with their 80s friends, the slyne babes we booked on the way over an automated booking system seemingly they say manager if they actually want to talk to a person to find out how busy they are! to the happiness they were not busy. but we would have preferred a table for four, for both of us, because we would be right either through the icy doors or through the toilets of the ladies who were also decorated! my mother moved her chair. instead of waiting for a long time to eat as it was quite quiet (has heard this from different people.) mum had lasagne when she had not the curry she was looking forward to, and was not overly impressed by how it tasted like a heated meal, but ok. my gammon was delicious! it had a koks and whisky sauce to pour over which was wonderful! I could 've eat a bowl full of we were very full, but after a short break we had the minipudding and a hot chocolate

Beautiful personal, beautiful decor .glorious menu delicious food, fantastic value .what more can I say, apart from many thanks for my family feel welcome

It is my first time here, but I would definitely go again! pampering, attentiveness to their needs, even if the place was very, very busy. the food was very good and that was worth waiting. joe who served us was exceptional in his desire to make our time there to remember! excellent service. you will not be disappointed!

After a day in morecambe we called for food here. never before and wished that this place was closer to home because it would be a place we would visit regularly. we hadn't booked, but it wasn't too busy. greeted by russ who showed us the seat in the free. the opposite was beautiful and clean. ordering in , eating arrived immediately. I would have changed my meal and that was all good. the food was absolutely delicious. well cooked and presented. good value for money in a beautiful environment. will visit again when in the opposite.
