Ristorante Portovino - Brossard

Let's start with the positives. This restaurant has a charming decor and offers very affordable prices. The food was delicious, ranging from the grilled salmon to the pasta dishes. However, the service was lacking, with a somewhat unfriendly wait staff (I was rudely asked to move my chair because the table behind me was too close). The biggest downside was the dirty cutlery. I had to request for two sets of utensils to be replaced as they were not only dirty but also had leftover food stuck to them. There was no apology given for either mishap.

My family and I had dinner at this spacious and well-lit restaurant. We were greeted warmly and discreetly upon arrival. The service was quick and courteous. The set menu was delicious and satisfying. Bringing our own wine made the bill very affordable for a lunchtime meal.

This restaurant is not worth the hype. The service was slow and the prices were too high for the quality of food. The waiter was very arrogant. I do not plan on coming back.

I found the prices expensive for the lack of flavours in their food, i guess the appeal is the bring your own wine.
