Contribuiți la feedbackWhat an amazing evening. Food was delicious, we were not rushed and our server (Andrew) was great. He made a suggest for our main course, (chicken with mushrooms in a cream sauce) it was so good. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing experience and great food! This is my 3rd time I Pass by and I love it every single time! The service was great ... the food was awesome and it was a great fun atmosphere... mind you lots of noise ... so if you're looking for a one on one Calm place, this won't be the place for you!I highly recommend it and you will enjoy every plate... we were a group of 12 and every one of us loved there food and we have 2 chefs with us!Enjoy!
We were a group of 12 people for a birthday event. After everyone arrived and our table was visibly not waiting for more people, we had to wait for about 30min for the waiters to come and take our order. It took another hour or so for the food to arrive. The menu is fairly expensive, with most dishes being above $30. I went for one of the few dishes with meat in it : ravioli con carne $36). To my shock, there were only 5 raviolis on my plate. At a price of $7.20 tip tax per ravioli, I resorted to savoring those little pieces of dough with meat like it was caviar. It is absurd to think that any self-respecting chef would sign off on a dish like that. On the flip side, the sauce was really good. The waiters were polite, but the service was overall slow. If I was in their shoes, I would have definitely warned my customers against choosing the worst overpriced dishes. There is a reason why this Brossard restaurant is the last Portovino in this chain that didn't go bankrupt just yet. Avoid at all costs.
Who? PortovinoWhat? Italian BYOB restaurantAbsolute must? Any mussels plateWhy?Very spacious Italian restaurant that is definitely more on the higher end of spots in Quartier Dix30. ItThe hot bread with olive oil and balsamic they serve at the beginning felt very fresh and were delicious. We ordered different plates, like the Insalata Di Rucola (salad plate), the Polpo Alla Griglia (octopus that was cooked to perfection with different vegetables and a balsamic reduction). The traditional Italian plates were also delicious, like the Peperonata Pizza and the Polpete (meatballs). The mussel plate might be the one that definitely felt like the most generous portion and the best plate. Our waiter was extremely helpful and explained the different dishes to us. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but it’s all « Bring your own wine » which can save you a couple of dollars on the drinks!8.5/10Price: Around 50$/person
Excellent food!10/10! Very high quality food and worth every pretty penny? Excellent customer service which is hard to find in the Montreal area. It was my first time today and I was blown away. Far exceeded my expectations. I unequivocally recommend them to everyone.
