Contribuiți la feedbackToday, we stopped at this restaurant for a quick lunch. We ordered a medium cheese poutine, 2 steamer hot dogs, and a drink to share. The total cost was only $15, which was a great deal. The medium poutine was surprisingly large and perfect for sharing. It was served hot with generous amounts of soft cheese curds and delicious gravy that wasn't too salty or overpowering. The hot dogs were loaded with toppings, including a generous helping of tasty coleslaw. While they were a bit messy to eat, they were incredibly delicious. The portion size was just right for me, as I struggle to finish larger hot dogs with big buns. These smaller ones allowed me to enjoy them fresh and without needing to add my own condiments. The poutine was definitely a standout compared to other places we've tried before. While I can't say if it's the best in the city, it was fresh and hot and just enough for the two of us to share. If you have a big appetite, you could definitely finish it all on your own. Overall, we had a great meal and would recommend this spot for a tasty and affordable lunch option. Enjoy!
The drive-thru service was awful. The worker didn't offer any condiments with my order, and when I asked for some, she said there was a line. It only got worse when I started eating my French fries and found a napkin and toothpick mixed in with them.
This diner offers a decent selection of menu options and is conveniently located on a bustling boulevard in the South Shore of Montreal. It's a great stop for a quick bite while out shopping or exploring the area.
Went here for poutine and made the mistake of getting the large. It is massive and 4 of us struggled to eat it as a side dish. Staff were really nice.
I was recommended by a colleague that while in Quebec I had to make time for La Belle Province. Well I did and thoroughly enjoyed it. This place doesn't pretend to be anything other then it is, a unique local fact food chain. Sort of a clean version of a complete dive. The menu is pretty basic with local favorites, hotdogs, hamburgers, fries, club sandwiches and souvlaki. I again stuck to my recommendation and went for the poutine and a couple steamer hotdogs. The cashier was friendly and courteous, recommending I take the dogs all dressed, so they came with ketchup, mustard, relish, mayo, coleslaw and may have been onions but I didn't really find any. The dogs are a classic pork hotdog, nice and flavorful, and a basic white hotdog bun. Kept in a steamer after they put the two together it bonds the flavor nicely. The toppings perfectly complemented the dogs. The poutine was made with fresh fries and good gravy with lots of cheese curd. Overall this is fine dinning, but I'd definitely recommend you give it a try. (The 10 minute trip back to the hotel didn't with the takeout didn't hurt it either).
