Ben Florentine - Brossard

I recently visited Montreal and discovered this French breakfast restaurant on Google Maps. The food was fresh and delicious, but the service left something to be desired. The waitstaff didn't seem very friendly, and several of them chatted among themselves while ignoring guests trying to get their attention. I hope they can improve their service in the future.

The food was decent, but the service was lacking. We were seated next to a door, and the constant slamming from the busboy was quite bothersome—at one point, it even hit my back several times.

I had a fantastic late breakfast with outstanding service from Jade. She was cheerful, engaged, and attentive to everyone in her section. We definitely need more people like her!

The restaurant offers a tranquil and uplifting atmosphere, complemented by courteous staff. The breakfast menu features a vast array of options, ensuring there’s something to satisfy every palate. I love varying my meals, and so far I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the Smoothie Bowl paired with two poached eggs and a slice of 12-grain toast, as well as the French Toast served with fresh fruit and two eggs over easy accompanied by sausage, potatoes, and toast. The smoothies are fantastic too, and for those who prefer non-dairy options, they offer almond milk as a substitute!

I visited this morning and the entire experience was terrible. The place was uncomfortably warm, and I couldn't tell if the air conditioning was even functioning. The waitress had a poor attitude; she came to take our order 30 minutes after we were seated, and then it took another 30 minutes for our food to arrive. By that point, we just wanted to leave. There was no coffee refill offered, and the waitress didn't check in to see if everything was alright. I definitely won't be returning.
